Dark room, bulky furniture
The gardens are beautiful and the staff are friendly.
The room was very dark with poor lighting. The bulky furniture took up too much space and made it difficult to move around.

Had very very good stay out of town. We booked a standard queen room, it was complete with extra large single bed as well as 2 lovely armchairs. The breakfast had lots of good food and drinks.
The staff - some of them were not very friendly.

I have stayed here several times in the past and loved it. That is why I came back again. I have even recommended it to friends - pity about that,
The room was musty (room25). I went to get an extra pillow and it was wet and had mould on it. There were tide marks on the pillow from where it had been wet before. Went to make a cup of coffee and the milk was sour. It was dated Jan 2013. The television reception was very poor. I would NEVER stay there again and wish I could get my money back. The place is so run down and not cared for. The grass was about 18 inches tall from not being cut. The whole place is very derelect and for $145 customers deserve more. There was no one there at reception to help. The blanket we ended up using for a pillow was stained but it was better than the pillow supplied. A very dissapointing experience and as I am planning to travel to the area again in the next couple of months I will look for somewhere else. Always loved the place on previous visits. I think it has new owners that have let it get run down.

The service here was really welcoming. the staff were friendly and offered great recommendations. It’s a quiet spot since it’s close to Canberra, the channel, and a lovely garden. 🌳.

The room size was good and the bathroom was adequate and clean.
No reception staff and 3% surcharge on Mastercard is a rip off. I chose to pay cash on check out but again nobody on reception duty. The housekeeper took my cash payment but did not supply any receipt and I had to find her to pay the bill.

Comfy and spotless rooms with lovely views over gardens and covered bbq facilities. Unbeatable location in a good area, short walk to Picton for evening meal and Razorback Inn cafe and a restaurant.

It was close to the venue that we attended that night
Apparently the room we got was re-furbished so it was nice & spacious but the tilers in the bathroom got it all wrong. It basically flooded as it was a flat floor hence a VERY quick shower for both of us.I had to ge several towels from the office to put on the floor so it wouldn't flood the actual room. The lady said she could move us to another room but by this time we were unpacked & declined as it was for 1 nite. On returning to our room that night there was a VERY friendly cochroach waiting to greet us not wanting to leave. Next morning found another one dead on the wet towels in the bathroom.Needless to say we left VERY early!
